Create a new game

Once you have clicked the “CREATE NEW GAME'' link in the main menu you will see the “Create/edit game'' page as shown in Figure 3.4.

On the left side of the page you are able to write an e-mail message to invite learners to the game. The default text can be deleted and you can write your own text message. The e-mail will only be sent once you have created a learner class with teams, participants and their corresponding e-mail addresses. If you have not created these data points, you do not have to worry about this field. 

In the column to the right you will see the “2. Game Data'' field. Enter a name for the game in the provided field. It is useful to call the game something which describes the participating class, the date or theme of the game. Then you enter the theme of the game in the provided field; what is this game about, and enter the date and time of the game. At the bottom of the page you choose the duration of the game halves.
 Click the “Approve and continue'' button at the bottom right corner once you have completed this section. If you want to return to the main menu, you can click the “Back'' button (the game is created even if you choose to click the ''Back'' button).
